Over the weekend, I attended the 50th Annual Wickford Art Festival – twice. On Saturday, I shadowed North Kingstown police captain Steven St. Onge, who patrolled the busy streets, engaging in conversation with passerby and serving as a reminder of the town’s safety. On Sunday, I returned with my family, including my aunt, and saw many of the same exhibits, but in a different light.
I wrote about the Wickford Art Festival for the NorthºEast Independent, and it was published today on the front page. I strongly encourage you to pick up a copy of the paper and read through it yourself, but if you’re not from the area and you don’t have access to the paper, you can read my article here.
